Specialized Spanish Test Prep Classes

Casa Xelajú now offers intensive Spanish test preparation courses for teachers needing to pass the following certification examinations:

These courses are designed for teacher candidates who have not yet been able to pass their certification exams and for teachers who will attempt the exams for the first time. Our specialized test preparation courses will provide an intensive review that will help to alleviate stress prior to the exam and help to successfully pass the exam.

Our specialized courses focus on the content areas that are covered in the exams: Listening, reading comprehension, linguistic and language structure, cultural understanding and written and oral expressions. We also understand the difficulty of the essay section and if necessary will allot extra time to prepare with students for that.

While studying with us at Casa Xelajú you will be provided with 5 hours of one-on-one instruction Monday to Friday, cultural and education activities provided by the school, a home-stay experience with a Guatemalan family; all of which help to reinforce your Spanish practice outside of the classroom. Many of our teachers have 18 years of experience and all are familiar with these exams and are well prepared to assist in specialized preparation.

We highly recommend taking at least two weeks of Spanish instruction to prepare you for your exam with confidence. However, if you feel that your Spanish is at a lower level, you might consider more weeks of instruction.

Depending on your needs, we offer these specialized courses here at our school in Quetzaltenango (Xela), Guatemala and also online for those students whose schedules don't allow for travel!
