The park is completely surrounded
by dense jungle and hundreds of animals canbe seen including
wild turkeys, eagles, vultures, motmots, tinamous, toucans,
pumas, foxes, snakes, monkeys, etc.
People can fly from Guatemala City to Flores, 60 Kms away from
Tikal. There are also daily buses from Guatemala City to Flores.
The park can be reached from Belize.
This package takes visitors into the jungles of Guatemala where
they will explore the ruins of the Mayan city of Tikal, the
largest of the Mayan ruins. Visitors can climb the pyramids,
admire the hieroglyphs that cover the stone monuments and watch
the monkeys as they swing through the canopies.
Staying in these rustic bungalows inside
the park allows you to hear the birds and animals of the jungle,
enjoy the sunrise from inside the park and have the ruins close
by. Because the park does not have electricity, lights run on
a generator and go out at 9:00pm.

Located
