Casa Xelaju offers you a special airport pick-up service to make your trip to Casa Xelaju as easy as possible!

When you arrive at La Aurora, the international airport in Guatemala City, our representative, Mirna Paredes will be waiting for you to bring you to the bus station Alamo from where you will take the bus to Quetzaltenango. Once you arrive in Quetzaltenango someone from the staff of Casa Xelajú will pick you up at the bus station to bring you directly to your host family. If you arrive late in the afternoon or in the evening you're welcome to stay the night at the Bed & Breakfast of Karla Zaper and travel to Quetzaltenango the next morning. Some important notes: Karla Zaper or her husband Gerardo will be waiting for you outside in the waiting hall with a paper with your name on it. If you don't see them immediately don't go out of the airport. Just wait inside near INGUAT, the tourist information office, until you see one of them. If necessary you can make a phone call to Mirna from INGUAT Tourist Information to let her know where you are.

The price of the pick-up service is US$40.00 and includes the transportation to the busstation and the bus fare. For two persons and more the price for the pick-up service cost US$35.00 per person.

The price of the pick-up service together with the Bed & Breakfast cost US$50.00 and includes the transportation from the airport to the house of Mirna, spending the night in Guatemala City, breakfast, the transportation to the busstation and the bus fare. For two people and more this service cost US$45.00.
